Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous rap tracks that tackled sexuality and racial identities with a an incisive and humorous perspective, before broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument. In the following years, she took up the classical and hip-hop genres. At college, she was studying the field of women's studies and journalism. Then, she even had an hour studying Mandarin in Beijing. Following graduation, she decided to focus on music. Now she was looking to further her career in acting. Her film credits include films such as Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered a number of major roles like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out,"In Fina We Trust in June of that year.
