Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for her lead roles in TV series like The West Wing "In Plain Sight," and Loaded.' She is also popular for her film roles in "Private Parts," "Deep Impact', "True Criminal' and '1408'. McCormack was the child of a medical therapy therapist and the owner of an ice cream shop. She comes from a non-entertainment family. After the divorce of her parents, she went to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In 1990, after finishing her studies at Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA in English, she was awarded a degree. When she began her career, she was just 12 years old when she appeared on stage in the production of an opera called "Amahl's Night People". While she pursued her profession as a stage actress, McCormack ultimately was cast in roles on television and film. The versatility of McCormack is well-known and is still widely recognized. Michael Morris is her husband and she has 3 daughters.
